On November 9, 2025, one of the most eagerly awaited events for runners and running enthusiasts from all over Italy (and beyond) returns: the Ravenna City of Art Marathon , a one-of-a-kind event that combines sport, culture, emotion, and collective participation.

A MARATHON, THREE CHALLENGES, A CITY OF ART
The Ravenna Marathon is not just a race: it is an immersive experience in the beauty of a city that preserves thousands of years of artistic heritage , including Byzantine mosaics and historic views.
The route winds through the city's most picturesque streets, offering participants a unique backdrop of culture, energy, and passion.
Three distances are foreseen:
🏅 Marathon – 42.195 km : the queen of challenges, dedicated to the most experienced runners
🏃♂️ Consar Ravenna Half Marathon – 21,097 km : for those who want to test themselves over the half distance
🌞 Good Morning Ravenna – 10 km : open to all, to enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about the stopwatch
A MEDAL THAT IS A WORK OF ART
Even in 2025, the most iconic symbol of the Marathon will be its medal.
Designed and handcrafted for the 14th consecutive year in the Annafietta artistic laboratory, it is inspired by the magnificent early Christian mosaics of Ravenna.
The medal will be available in three versions , one for each distance, and represents much more than an award: it is an authentic piece of Ravenna , a tribute to the history and beauty of the city.
